Bridging Experiences beyond Borders on Collaboration, Sustainability, and Digitalization

Every year, the Import Forum in Zurich has become a vital bridge that brings together a diverse group of voices from across the global trade landscape. As a networking and knowledge-exchange event organized by the Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO), it connects organizations from exporting countries with Swiss and European importers and trade experts. This year’s event focuses on exchanges around enhanced collaboration for Export Promotion Systems to last beyond SIPPO’s presence.  

Bridging Experiences beyond Borders on Collaboration, Sustainability, and Digitalization

Round-table discussions, a panel with SECO, the International Trade Center (ITC), and the sharing of real-world challenges during breakout sessions set the stage for the event. It is where experiences, challenges, and ideas are openly discussed to create a shared learning process. This allows participants to build relationships that strengthen their collective ability to navigate an evolving global trade landscape for more resilient and sustainable value chains.  

Indonesia takes the lead in hosting a breakout session on market intelligence alongside its Business Support Organizations (BSOs), the Ministry of Trade, and the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. The session aims to spark global co-creation by encouraging participating countries to exchange insights, challenges, and best practices from their respective contexts.
